I wanted to take a moment to tell you all about my favorite Money Saving websites.

First and foremost is Coupon Mom This site offers free coupons, a grocery store list by state and many E-Books on how to save money.

Second is Saving Mania She tells you where you can get great deal, coupons and freebies.

Third is Pat Veretto's Pat is a former About.com writer and offers many outside of the box thinking on frugal living. Her blog is awesome!

Christmas Time In a Frugal Household

Christmas time in a frugal household can be so much fun. One of my favorite parts of Christmas is the home-made decorations my children have made over the years. Yes I keep them all and hang them for the holidays. This to me is much better than anything you can buy because it was made from the heart by people who love me.

This year I did a few small presents and one big family present! I think they are going to love.

This is a simple question yet many people avoid the answer. I am almost done with Christmas. I did not charge anything nor did I go overboard. I was crazy enough to go shopping on Black Friday to get most of my deals. I also shopped a bit in October just to be sure I did get everything. So please my readers tell me are you ready?

I belong to many freebie groups and websites. Any and all freebies I list to you I have completed. I will not post any freebie that makes you complete offers or makes you purchase something to get the freebie. I believe that when it is free it should be free with no strings attached.

Freecycle

Do you freecycle?

Freecycle is a local group you can find one at freecycle.org and you can get rid of items you no longer need and get items you do need all for free. It keeps things we would otherwise toss out of the landfill. I love freecycling, I belong to my local freecycle in Alexandria Va and I have gotten many things free and gotten rid of many things free.

You can't beat free!

The Frugal Mom

The frugal mom, can go into a grocery store, shop, hand the cashier 100 coupons and leave owing the store $10 for $300 worth of stuff. The frugal Mom is going to do this even if financially she doesn't have too. In her mind if they are there use them! That is more money for the Frgual Mom to use somewhere else. Most of the Frugal Moms started being frugal because we have too. Now we don't have too we still do? Most people ask me this because it takes time to plan a frugal shopping trip and to gather everything you need before you head out. I make about 18 dollars a hour working so when I am shopping I plan to save atleast 2 hours of my pay that way I have paid myself for the planning and shopping.
